How much does a consultation cost?
Priced by what the question needs, not by the hour. The smallest thing I do is single question, cast the same day at US$90; the largest is online feng shui consultation at US$680. Every price is listed beside its service below. Write to me with the question and I will tell you which one it needs before you commit to anything — often it is the cheaper one.
What does a feng shui consultant actually do?
I read what a space is doing to the people in it. That means the layout, the facing, the rooms people sleep and work in, and the birth charts of those people — because the same house does different things to different occupants. What comes back is a written account and a short list of changes, including the things I would leave alone.
Can a feng shui consultation be done online?
Yes, and all of mine are. I work from a floor plan, photographs taken in an order I send you, the compass facing, and dates. I do not travel to sites.
What is the difference between BaZi and Qi Men Dun Jia?
BaZi is read from your birth moment and describes a life — decades, tendencies, the shape of a year. Qi Men Dun Jia is cast for the moment you ask and answers about that moment: timing, direction, who is being straight with you. If your question has a date attached, you want Qi Men. If it is about a pattern that keeps repeating, you want BaZi.
Do I need my exact birth time?
For a full BaZi it helps a great deal, but a missing hour is not a missing reading. The day pillar does not move. If the hour is gone I ask for three or four dated events — an illness, a move, a year everything went badly — and narrow the hour from those.
Do you predict illness, lawsuits or death?
No. I do not diagnose and I am not a doctor or a lawyer. What I will do is tell you which weeks to protect and suggest you see someone qualified inside them. Several conversations on this site are exactly that, and the client went and got checked.
Are the conversations on this site real?
Yes. They are my own WeChat threads, published with the clients' permission and already masked before they were ever posted. The English is machine-translated and then reviewed — every page says so, and the Chinese original sits under each translated line so you can check it.
