Though Yi Wood is soft, it can carve the sheep and dissect the ox. Harboring Ding and embracing Bing, it can ride the phoenix and mount the monkey. In empty, damp places, even riding a horse brings worry. As a vine clinging to Jia Wood, it can flourish in spring or autumn.
Solitary yin does not give birth; lone yang does not grow.
