Zongyuan, I have something happy I really wanted to share with you. I feel like things have started turning around since I met you, and I feel more steady inside. I started applying for a Canada visa at the beginning of 2023. Back then I was so eager for it to come through, and I spent the whole of 2023 waiting for this one thing. Last year I gave up hope on it entirely. I stopped caring and started looking into other countries to try to build a life there. This morning I suddenly got a message saying it was approved — two years later. It’s almost unbelievable. For a case like this, the wait time is practically unheard of, everyone I know is shocked. I can’t even describe how happy I am. I’m so grateful, I feel like my luck is turning around. Everything is slowly getting better and better.
