A client asked whether to focus on work or studying I Ching now, plus a feng shui question. Zongyuan advised prioritizing work first, and noted three home points to address.

Looking back: in 2023, with mao wood generating your salary star, you received recognition at work, or a de facto promotion (expanded responsibilities). But with gui water appearing on the stem, the salary boost did not fully land — pay did not go up noticeably, or the work-to-pay ratio got worse. In 2024, the year of jia chen, the salary star is damaged. Your career has started to slide, you feel unappreciated, and you are more likely to run into petty people. The peak of this is from October to the end of this year. You need to hold on. Looking ahead: from 2025 you will slowly enter an upward phase. By 2026 both income and career will grow quickly, and you will be able to pay off your loan early to reduce pressure. Your BaZi (known in the West as the Four Pillars of Destiny) is currently in a wu luck pillar transition. I do not recommend changing jobs now. Job change opportunities will come around 2027, you can consider it then. Remember one thing right now: the more you stir things up, the worse it gets. Any move will cause a slide. If you hold on, you will get through it and see the upward slope.
往前看，在2023年，卯木生禄，工作上受到过嘉奖，或者变相有升职(职责范围扩大)，但是由于癸水出干，生禄不到位，薪资待遇没有明显增长，或者性价比降低。到了2824甲辰年毁禄了，事业开始有滑坡，人受气，且容易犯小人。本年的10月到年底为高峰期，需要坚持。
往后看，2025年开始缓步进入上升期，其中到了2026年财运事业都会快速增长，且可以提前还贷减少压力。
八字目前午大运变更，不建议换工作，换工作的机会落在2027年前后，可以再考虑。现阶段要记牢一点: 越折腾越差，一动就会滑坡，坚持就能挺过去看到上坡。

There are electrical items that broke in the past two years and have not been repaired or replaced. Find them and deal with them. 3. Either a family member or you yourself have irregular heartbeat that has not been treated. Go see a doctor about it. Once these three things are handled, you will enter the upward phase.

All of these are true Zongyuan! 1. The place I just rented has the entry door facing the bedroom door. 2. There were broken electrical items, I just replaced them this month when I moved. 3. My wife has had irregular heartbeat for the past two years, sometimes her heart rate goes up to 140-150. She has had hospital checks but they cannot find the root cause. Chinese medicine and other things have not helped, it is really worrying.
