Zongyuan, here's good news 😀 Following your suggestion 👍, Dr. Miao Xudong really is a great fit for me — it's been perfect. He said if I had come to him right when the fracture happened, I would have needed surgery. Now the window for surgery has passed, and the alignment is still okay. On his advice, I took off the stiff splint the day before yesterday to switch to an air cast boot. I'll gradually put more weight on it, and go back for a checkup in a month. If my ankle is stable after the ligament tear heals, I won't need surgery. ❤️
