A client asked when her house would sell. I noted two windows and a few small details. She came back to say it had sold, in the first window.

Zongyuan
From the BaZi (known in the West as the Four Pillars of Destiny), movement starts when metal elements come forward. There are two points to note. First, the shen, you, xu months of this year and next — that is August to October in 2024 and 2025. This year, the weaker character surfaces, which makes it easier to sell property. In 2025, metal within the si branch comes out to cut wood and protect earth. The second timing is autumn 2027, again the shen, you, xu months. The matter will mostly be settled within these two periods.
From the I Ching divination: the hexagram is Wind and Thunder (Increase), changing to Wind and Fire (Family), with the mutual hexagram Mountain and Earth (Peeling Away). The clash of the tomb-storage in the mutual hexagram is a clear sign of selling a house. The original hexagram shows peer stars, which means there will be a transaction. The changed hexagram shows internal generation, which means money comes in. The mutual hexagram says change comes when earth appears, which also points mainly to 2024 and 2027.
There are a few number hints here: 4, 5, 3. When negotiating the sale, you can use these as the last digits of the price to help the process go more smoothly. The BaZi favors metal. For the agent, surnames Wang, Jin, Liu, Sun are good, or if the buyer’s surname has a metal component — you can keep an eye out for that.
