She had already decided to cut the staff, and the year chart agreed
I said the year would push her online and force the offline side to shrink. She wrote back: I really am about to lay someone off. AI took her job.

The year of Bing Wu is a rather particular one. Fire appears across the whole chart, so everything starts to flow at once — the chart warms up. Your thinking will get more active. Your feelings will also turn more outward, you will want to be seen, and there will be progress in matters of the heart. But the old problems are still there.
Here is the breakdown by area:
Career and money
Bing and Wu are both [redacted] in the home palace, so the career is amplified. But [redacted] fits the season, so next year's expansion will be mostly on the internet, and little of it offline. Your name and the scope of your work will both widen, and next year you will be the one holding the initiative — something like the client side. People outside will be reading your face before they speak or decide. [redacted] being large also means innovation; many things will be torn down and rebuilt, and you will feel your way onto new roads. But offline has to contract. You have to travel light, no high-cost operations of any kind. Even on staff, you will let people go and bring new ones in — but one new person does the work of two, and things can run at high speed.

Master, I really am preparing to lay someone off. Because AI has completely replaced her work.
The business has indeed contracted too. The profit is not what it was.
I am keeping the other one, the one who is pregnant.
I did not expect it — the AI electronic employee really does do the work of two, even five or ten. I cut a person and instead it runs at higher speed.
Even on staff, you will let people go and bring new ones in, but one new person does the work of two…
