I mapped out four fields she would work in from her BaZi. She wrote back to say she was already in three of them.

In your BaZi (known in the West as the Four Pillars of Destiny), Jia Wood meets Yin, which comes from Hai. The Wood is strong and the Earth is thin, and there is too much Water. You need the Metal in Xu to cut the Wood and protect the Earth. In your BaZi [redacted], the self-combination of Ji and Hai also shows this — the "flowering" happens on the year pillar.
There are several fields you will work in throughout your life. First, education and training — this uses the Metal in Xu to cut the Wood. Second, finance and management. Third, spiritual healing, which includes metaphysical practices. Fourth, the broader health sector, such as medical devices or wellness products.
Outside the home, the elements are Fire, Earth and Wood, and Metal is welcome to "harvest" them. Inside the home, the elements are Water and Wood; what is useful are Ji Earth, Jia Wood, and the Jia within Hai. The Jia in Hai has the image of building a boat to ferry people across — this is also your spiritual pursuit. But success or failure both hinge on Hai Water. The Water in Hai is too strong for Xu to contain, so you often feel conflicted.
As for how you make money: Ji Earth rises up from Xu. Wuxu is in the peer pillar, which represents three people. So whatever you do, it will be a three-party collaboration — one partner is out in the open, one is behind the scenes. The partner who carries the Xu element has a certain background and strength. They can help you open up connections, but they also take a share of the profits.

求财方式上，己土是戌翻上来的，戊戌
在比劫宫，三个人，因此你做什么事儿
都是三方合作，其中一个合作方在明，
一个在暗。合作方带戌，有一定背景，
也有实力，可以帮你打通些关系，但也
分钱。

First, I currently run corporate management training for entrepreneurs across all kinds of industries. I am a minority shareholder. The other partner is my former employer — he asked me to partner with him again this year. We have run into some growing pains now, but I just closed a round of funding after I came on board. We expect major improvements in half a year.
He said once we make the Chengdu market work this year, we will move the headquarters to Hangzhou by the middle of next year.

Second, I am also in finance — mainly early-stage Web3.0 project investment and incubation. I am working with brothers I have known for over ten years. Things are going pretty well overall. We expect a bull market next year or the year after, so the returns should be good.

Third, I have studied the I Ching, Qi Men Dun Jia, feng shui, and the Marrow Washing Qigong. I am a formal disciple of the schools that teach these practices, and I became their partner after finishing my studies. I usually introduce friends around me to go study these things.
