I keep going on about my own work stuff every day, but I've been wanting to share with you the changes in [redacted]'s child. This year they've been studying very hard, everything is going well in all respects, and they especially want to study. Of course they're still continuing with their specialty. Before, it was always 'plant flowers with care and they don't bloom.' Recently they've been telling me very strongly that they want to go the regular high school route, because art students can go the specialist route at a key high school. When I cast about schooling a while back, I was still fixated on music. Even though the scores aren't that high yet, maybe they really will go the academic route...
