Zongyuan, [redacted] was right. I’ve been moving back and forth nonstop in the first half of this year. Before Lunar New Year I was transferred out of Beijing, and after the holiday I was moved to a job in Shenzhen. I stayed in Shenzhen for two months, then the company sent me to help out in Meizhou. You said I’d have a lot of arguments and conflicts between May and July, and that was right too. I wasn’t looking for trouble—trouble came to me. Today an unreasonable old man in the neighborhood made a fuss, we even called the police. The police sided with the locals, and our landlord contacted us saying everyone was pressuring him to make us move out. It wasn’t even our fault. Last month a childhood friend introduced me to a girlfriend, and we’re getting along really well. You got all of it right.
